Smartron that earlier launched tBook, a competitor to Microsoft Surface, has launched its tPhone smartphone at Rs 22,999 in Hyderabad. The phone will go on sale in early June and registrations for the same are open on Gadgets360.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on a 5.5-inch full HD Super Amoled display. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 4GB of RAM.
It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with isocell technolgy and dual-LED flash. The camera on the front is of only 4-megapixels, but composed of larger sized pixels for better low-light performance.
The tPhone has 64GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via a microSD card (up to 128GB) and offers unlimited tCloud storage online.
The phone will be available in Classic Grey, Metallic Pink, Steel Blue, and Sunrise Orange. The phone is juiced by a 3,000mAh battery suppported by Quick Charge 2.0 via USB-Type C port.
