Apple Watch may get updated software...

l eyes are on Apple's big launch today. The technology giant Apple is expected to unveil a smaller, cheaper iPhone and another variant of iPad Pro. Though it has been close to a year since the first Apple Watch hit the market, the company, however, is not expected to unveil a new version of the smartwatch just yet.
However, it may make a few announcements about the WatchOS that powers Apple Watch.
According to 9to5mac, following up on September's Apple Watch updates, the company may may launch new bands and software. The report, quoting sources, claims "the new band lines will include multiple new colors for the rubberized Sport bands, new Hermes bands, a 'space black' version of the Milanese Loop, and an entirely new band line made of a new material. Supply chain sources indicate that Apple has been testing a series of "high-quality" NATO-style nylon bands for the Apple Watch."
Worldwide shipments of wearable devices are expected to rise 38.2% to 110 million units by the end of 2016, market research firm International Data Corp (IDC) said.
IDC said that Apple Watch was expected to lead the market this year with a 49.4%, followed by Android Wear watches -- powered by Alphabet's Android operating system -- with a 21.4% share.
Apple is expected to ship 14 million units of Apple Watch this year, up from 11.6 million units estimated for 2015.
