Apple releases new version for bug-riddled iOS 9.3...

Apple has released an updated build for iOS9.3 which is expected to tackle the bug that is causing earlier versions of iPhone and iPad to become bricked. The new version is also called iOS 9.3 but has an updated build called 13E5237.
Several owners of iPad 2 reportedly claimed that after updating the device, it got stuck and could not be activated. Similarly, owners of older devices without Touch ID sensor said that they were able to complete the update only after entering the account login information that the device was set up with when it was first activated.
Confirming the bug to iMore, Apple spokesperson said, "Updating some iOS devices (iPhone 5s and earlier and iPad Air and earlier) to iOS 9.3 can require entering the Apple ID and password used to set up the device in order to complete the software update."
The spokesperson further added, "In some cases, if customers do not recall their password, their device will remain in an inactivated state until they can recover or reset their password. For these older devices, we have temporarily pulled back the update and will release an updated version of iOS 9.3 in the next few days that does not require this step."
Apple had also released a version to specifically fix the issues coming with iPad 2 post the iOS 9.3 update.
Incidentally, this was not the only reported bug with iOS 9.3 update. The new software update also appears to have a bug that makes some users unable to click on links. Many users complained that they are unable to open links if they clicked on them in Safari, Messages, Mail and a range of other apps post the update.
Apple released the iOS 9.3 update earlier last week. The update brings features like Night Shift, secure notes and more. The update is available for all Apple devices supporting iOS9.
